I am a sociologist, design researcher, and ultimate frisbee player.
My background in industrial design and sociology have directed my pursuit to better understand the contexts that surround those we design for and design with. I am currently a senior design researcher at All Purpose and IBM in Vancouver.
I graduated as the Kaspar Naegele Memorial Prize Winner from the University of British Columbia's Department of Sociology as the top undergraduate student. My honours thesis, “Private Acts of Consumption, Public Acts of Mothering” won the undergraduate thesis award.
I love playing ultimate frisbee. I have had five amazing opportunities to represent Canada for the Under-19 and Under-23 divisions and have my sixth world championships coming in July 2021 (hopefully)!
